Hair cloning and hair multiplication has been a hot topic for balding men and balding women.  Hair loss patients may ask when and how can they get their remaining hairs cloned to cover a balding area. Hair cloning is not available at any hair transplant center across the globe because no one has been able to make it work.

Many articles have been published on hair multiplication. But, and here’s the exciting news, in the hair restoration industry, there is one corporation, Intercytex, which has been considered by many to be at the cutting edge of hair cloning research.

Intercytex, one of the leading groups in hair cloning, announced that their researchers completed phase two of the study and began phase three.  Phase three is the part in the process in which researchers test their particular product and method on a large quantity of subjects and follow them for many years, after which they wait and observe if there are major long-term side effects and complications to take into account.

In the most recent meeting of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), the company announced that it hadn’t completed phase two of the study, which means phase three hasn’t even begun. We don’t know what type of roadblocks impeded the progress of this study, but we know it generally takes at least seven years for phase three of most of these types of research projects to come to a conclusion. 

The earliest researchers can come up with a solution to multiply hair seems to be seven years from now or maybe longer, after which we may find hair cloning to be a real-life solution to hair loss for people.
