How to Fold a Napkin Like a Star
- 1). Lay the napkin on a table right side down. Fold it in half diagonally, forming a triangle. Press the crease firmly. Unfold. Repeat this fold with the opposite two corners. Press the crease firmly. Unfold.
- 2). Fold the napkin in half lengthwise, forming a rectangle. Press the crease firmly. Unfold. Fold the napkin in half widthwise. Press the crease firmly. Unfold. This is called a "waterbomb" base. It has four folds all on the same side of the napkin, all meeting in the center.
- 3). Refold the napkin along one of the diagonal lines. Lay the resulting triangle on the table with the point facing you. Grasp the top corners of the napkin, one in each hand. Lift the napkin and push the corners down. This will form a star shape.
