If you have a picky eater in the house whether it be a toddler, young child, teenager, or adult, you have to think like one.
We've all heard that phrase before right? Well it's the truth, especially when trying to get choosy people to eat what you cook.
Now I'm sure you're not that bad of a cook to the point where no one wants to eat your food.
This means that maybe you're going to have to change a few things.
Let's look at what may make a young child who is a picky eater eat, since they are usually the ones who face this the most.
Children are some interesting little souls.
Their interests are always changing and therefore you have to learn to change with them.
You should do this when it comes to making them eat healthier foods like veggies and fruits One of the best ways to do so is to take an interest in your child's favorite things.
Are there any cartoons that they watch that feature certain cartoon characters eating a certain dish that's really a vegetable? If this is the case, what you could do is fix that same dish and serve it to your child.
You could call it "eyeball soup", or "greasy hair spaghetti", you can make up a ton of ideas.
Just remember to not be too outrageous as these are children you're naming these dishes for.
It's actually funny how a lot of the things that get children to eat their food, we never think of when we're having to deal with the fact that they are refusing to eat.
