How to Set a USB Controller to a Keyboard and Mouse
- 1). Check your USB-connected keyboard for an available USB port on the side of the hardware. You need this extra port on the keyboard in order to set an additional controller to it.
- 2). Plug the USB cable running out of the controller into the port on the side of the keyboard. The mouse typically connects to a USB port on the side of the keyboard.
- 3). Insert the driver installation CD for the USB controller into the CD drive of the computer. Wait a moment for the driver installation wizard to launch.
- 4). Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the driver installation. You can now begin using your USB controller with the computer.
