How to Treat Your Cat With Respect

Feline friends deserve the same respect as any other being, especially your friends and family members.
They keep us company, cheer us up when we feel down, wake us when we oversleep, provide us with endless hours of entertainment and so much more.
Here's how we can show them we care.
  1. Nurture the relationship.
Cats are very independent creatures, but a little human interaction each day shows them that we care.
A snuggle or affection every day goes a long way.
Just be sure not to infringe or bother your kitty when he doesn't want to be touched! You'll get a nasty response!
  2. Feed them well.
Don't overfeed your kitty, but don't restrict his diet too much.
Talk to your vet about the best course of action.
And don't even think about giving him the cheap food!
  3. Keep fresh water available.
Nothing annoys a kitty like not having something to drink available.
Do you know what its like when you're thirsty and can't get a drink? Now imagine you're unable to get a drink yourself, and rely on someone else to do it for you.
(Now you know why your kitty may like to lick the faucet!)
  4. Clean litter is a must.
If you have multiple cats, try to use 1 litter pan per cat.
They may share, true (but some are very territorial) but there should always be clean litter for kitty to use.
Otherwise, expect retribution in the form of "accidents.
    "
  5. Don't tease kitty.
Play with kitty nice, and don't tease them.
You will find that playtime is more enjoyable if you don't force or tease your cat.
