The fashionable UGG boot colours for 2009
UGG boots from UGG® Australia are still the hottest fashion footwear item available in the UK. Millions of us have succumbed to their luxurious fleece lining, superior quality, comfort and warmth. You will always be able to spot people wearing UGG boots as you walk down the high street or head off to your nearest supermarket.
But although UGGs have been around for years, the colours of UGG boots have been updated continuously. This has resulted in certain colours being the best sellers every year. So just what is the in colour for winter 2009?
Chestnut is the colour for this year; you only have to look at the latest sales data, flick through the latest gossip magazines to spot what colour boots celebrities like Liv Tyler and Kate Hudson are wearing, or head to your local authorised UGGs retailer to see them prominently displayed on the shop shelves.
This is hardly surprising though when Chestnut UGGs go with almost any outfit! It is also the most resilient colour around and easily able to hide blemishes. As the Classic Short, Classic Tall and brand new Bailey Button are all available in this colour you will have plenty of styles to choose from.
Chocolate UGGs were the hottest colour of 2008, and are still highly sought after this year too. Chocolate is such a rich, luxurious looking colour it’s no wonder that it still comes second in the UK’s most favourite colour list! The UGG Tall, Short and Bailey Button all come in this colour too.
Black UGGs may sound boring, but they are third most popular colour bought in the UK this year. This is because black is such a functional colour that goes with everything; we can even get away with wearing them to work or school. They are almost like naughty but nice footwear! It can also be said that black appeals to those of us that don’t really like the trendy UGG colours but still want to benefit from their comfort, luxuriousness and warmth.
A close fourth comes Sand UGG Boots. This was actually one of the first colours to be introduced and still going strong today. They look natural and are the most fade resistant of all the colours available. Look after them and they will last for years.
Fifth on the list are Grey UGGs. Grey is often considered dull and boring but thousands of us don’t agree as we buy Grey UGGs as they are easy to coordinate with our entire wardrobe!
Last but not least are new colours of Classic Cardy available for the first time this winter – Moss and Fig. They are so unusual and so fresh that these UGG boots are bound to hit the top seller list for Christmas.
