    Creating a Fedora Boot CD

    • 1). Go to the Download Fedora resource. Click on the "Get Fedora 13" button to download the IMG.

    • 2). Open your CD burning software, probably Brasero, which will be in "Programs" and select "New Project."

    • 3). Add the downloaded IMG file by clicking on the "Browse" window. Click "Burn" to create the CD. Make sure that when you click "Burn" you select to write the IMG as an ISO file.

    • 4). Reboot your computer, and the Fedora login screen will appear. Click "Automatic Login" to get to the Fedora Desktop.

    • 5). Click "Install to Hard Drive" on the desktop. When the Installer guide opens, click through selecting your preferred options. When you see a screen with two options, one will read "Install," the other will read "Upgrade." Click on the "Upgrade" option to keep your old files.
