The Best Way to Clean a Laminated Wood Floor
- 1). Sweep the laminate floor with a broom to remove any loose dirt. Use a soft brush vacuum attachment to remove dust and pet hair.
- 2). Pour a solution of one part vinegar and one part water into a bucket. Dampen a sponge mop in the vinegar solution. Fill another bucket with water.
- 3). Wring out the mop then mop a small section of the floor using smooth, even stokes. Rinse out the mop in the water bucket then mop over the vinegar solution with water.
- 4). Continue mopping small sections of the laminate floor with the vinegar and water solution. Mop over the floor with water after applying the vinegar solution to each small section.
- 5). Wipe the floor thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth after the entire laminate floor has been mopped. This will prevent water from seeping into the flooring and causing damage.
