• Windows 2000, XP and Vista are compatible with Microsoft ActiveSync. The program download and upgrades can be found on the Palm website under "Software." As of October 2010, users with Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit are not able to use Microsoft ActiveSync.
  
  

Daily Planning

• Palm phone owners can use Microsoft ActiveSync with Microsoft Exchange Server wirelessly or through a data connection to sync emails, tasks, to-do lists and appointments between their phones and computers.
  
  

Data Backup

• Microsoft ActiveSync can be used to update, save and change documents on all components of Microsoft Office and Outlook as well as pictures, music, videos and other cell phone applications. Contact information can also be backed up on the computer from any Palm phone.
