If your little girl is in love with different color butterflies, why not decorate her room to go with her passion.
There are several different ways that you can get the look of butterflies in the bedroom and it is going to be easy to do.
Make sure when you use a theme in your bedroom that you don't over do it by placing too many items in that room.
You want to only highlight the room with butterflies and accessorize with the many colors you will find on a butterfly; yellow, green, blue, gold, brown, and black.
Start with the ceiling and hang some butterfly mobiles that you both can make.
Take a coat hanger and some string.
Use some coffee filters and pipe cleaners to create your butterfly.
Let her color the wings of her butterfly to give them each a different and a unique look.
Once the pipe cleaner has been added, you can tie the string around them to dangle from the mobile.
Once the butterfly mobiles are complete, you may want to consider placing white fluffy clouds with a blue sky on the walls.
This can be done by first painting the entire wall the color of sky blue.
Once the paint dries, you can stencil white fluffy clouds onto the walls.
Buy a few of the butterfly cling decals to place in between the clouds.
You can also create a garden look on the wall so the butterfly can land in the garden on a sunflower or daisy flower.
Finish the look off with a white yard fence that will go around her bed.
You can have an opening so she can walk through it to get to her bed or create a little gate that she can open.
These yard fences are short so she can jump over them when she wants to.
Weave artificial green vines around the fence and place butterflies on the fence post.
Next you will want to place full sized area rugs on the floor under her bed.
These rugs will resemble grass so choose green rugs.
Even if you have wall-to-wall carpet on your floor you still want to place these area rugs down in order to make it look like grass.
Paint her furniture white; the dresser, the bed frame, the toy box, and more.
You want to be able to stencil butterflies on all of the furniture and white will make it easier to see the butterflies.
Create a little corner in her room that is surrounded by butterflies.
You can create a reading corner in her room with the pink sheer material hanging from the ceiling.
Place a pink pillow on the floor for her to sit on or a butterfly shaped hooked rug to sit on.
Again, you don't want to add too many butterflies to the room but you want to add enough to make her happy.
You can purchase a butterfly shaped area rug to add some style to her room.
