    • 1). Launch the Settings application on your first iPod touch by tapping its icon on the home screen, and open the Store page. Take note of the iTunes account the iPod touch is currently logged in to.

    • 2). Download and install the latest version of iTunes on your computer, following the installation instructions detailed on the Apple website. Once installation is complete, launch iTunes by clicking its icon on the desktop.

    • 3). Open the Store menu at the top of the iTunes window and select "Authorize this computer." Enter the username and password of the iTunes account currently being used by your first iPod touch, and then click the Authorize button.

    • 4). Open the iTunes Store menu again and select "Sign In." Enter the iTunes username and password once again, and click the Sign In button. The computer is now fully authorized to access the same iTunes account as the first iPod touch.

    • 5). Connect the iPod touch to the computer using its USB cable. If synchronization doesn't begin automatically, select the iPod touch from the "Devices" list in iTunes, open the Summary tab and click the Sync button in the lower right corner. The iPod touch's content, including its games and applications, will be backed up onto the computer. Disconnect the device once synchronization is complete.

    • 6). Launch the Settings application on your second iPod touch, and open the Store page. If the iPod touch is signed in to a different iTunes account than the computer and the first iPod touch, tap the Sign Out button.

    • 7). Enter the username and password of the shared iTunes account in the relevant boxes on the second iPod touch, and then tap the Sign In button.

    • 8). Connect the second iPod touch to the computer using the USB cable. If synchronization doesn't begin automatically, select the iPod touch from the "Devices" list in iTunes, open the Summary tab and click the Sync button in the lower right corner.

    • 9). Open the Apps tab in the main iTunes window and check the boxes next to any applications you want to transfer to the second iPod touch. Click the Sync button again, and your applications from the first iPod touch will be installed on the second one.
