Plot: In Nanny McPhee Returns the Oscar winning actress Emma Thomson returns to the supernatural character of being a mysterious Nanny that comes along when she is needed the most and wanted the least.  In the second movie Nanny McPhee appears at the door of a struggling young mother called Ms. Green who is unable to balance the tasks of looking after her three kids and running the village store. When Nanny McPhee arrives she discovers that the three children are fighting a war of their own against their two annoying cousins that have come to live with them from the city. Nanny McPhee relies on a mixture of flying motorbike, tree climbing piglet, a statue that comes to life and even an elephant that keeps showing up in the wrong places. Nanny McPhee teaches a total of five lessons before departing the country family.

The movie has been getting mainly excellent reviews. The News of the World gave it 4/5 and said that it was "smart, witty and beautifully crafted – exactly what you want from a family movie".
