How to Send a Nightgown Overseas
- 1). Fold the nightgown. Wrap the nightgown in a sheet of tissue paper. Place the nightgown into a large envelope if it is small, or place it in a small box.
- 2). Tear off a few pieces of packaging tape and place over the opening of the box. Make sure it is packaged tightly. If you're using a large envelope, close the top of the flap by peeling off the paper and folding down the sticky part. Place a piece of tape over the flap for tighter security. Write your return address and the recipient's address on one side of the box or envelope with a black marker.
- 3). Fill out a customs slip at your local post office. The slip will ask you for your name, address and the name and address of the recipient. Include the recipient's country, and information about the nightgown inside the package. Send the package from your local post office.
