Joana"s Guide Review
I am certain you have found this review already having heard a lot of hype around the author.
Joana is an infamous speedleveler in WoW.
Often you will find him starting characters on newly released realms to innovate his questing patterns.
Besides that you can also find him competing in Blizzard's leveling competitions.
As you may imagine he was in fact the winner.
For somebody creating a leveling guide these are obviously good occupations.
Because of this many people were happy to see him release his own leveling guides for the Horde.
My main faction isn't usually Horde so I had to go out of my way to try this one out, but that aside it was well worth the investment.
If you're really looking for something unique in your use of this guide it must be that Joana actually recorded his leveling process showing you exactly how he went about his speed runs.
Even though this might seem dull at first, it is rather interesting to see how he achieves what he does in the leveling game.
For those not interested in watching the video you'll be just fine with his in-game add-on.
The first part of it adds an arrow to your screen directing you where to go and changes appearance depending on how close you are to the target location.
Besides that you will get a small screen that has a step by step guide of what to do, including where to go, what items to pick, what quest to turn in etc..
Another handy attribute is that you don't have to buy the full 1-80 package.
They're split up into 3 different packages made up of a 1-70 version, a 70-80 version and the 1-80 version.
This is ideal for people that are re-starting after already having a level 70 character.
What I was quite amazed by was how he showed his user testimonials.
And I don't mean those on his site.
The cool part was that he has a MySpace page and it's full of remarks from people that liked his guide.
On top of this he has a whooping 2193 friends which I'm pretty sure will mostly be users of his guide, and that's only the part that uses MySpace or could be bothered to do more than use his guide.
What Joana provides in his horde leveling guides is very impressive.
If you're looking for a top notch guide you may want to have a look at it.
