Why would you ever need advice about something so amazing as jetting off to some wild, exotic place which will be paradise?Believe me, it's not all it looks like it is.
Read on, and then you'll understand.
1.
Use a travel agent.
And preferably one that you or someone you trust has used.
Also it's best if the agent has visited or has had clients who have visited where you are considering going.
2.
Be careful of the exotic honeymoons.
Call in advance.
Ask them questions like how often they change the beds?Do they give fresh linens daily? Is food included? If so, what kind of food? 3.
If you are leaving the country, give at least 3 months to get your passports if you don't already have them.
4.
If you are flying on an airline you have never flown on before, call them and ask the size of the jet.
And if you are flying to a remote island, find out how big that plane is.
If it doesn't bother you, then fine.
But you may just end up on a 4-6 person prop plane! 5.
Don't scrimp on your honeymoon.
It may be the last true vacation you have for awhile.
6.
If you are leaving the country, pack plenty of bottled water.
7.
If you decide on a cruise and you're concerned about getting seasick, make sure you buy 'sea-bands' (they really work) and bring nausea medication, just in case.
8.
Don't put your honeymoon off because of a work schedule.
If that's the case, get married when you can go on a honeymoon.
It's a perfect way to begin a marriage.
9.
Ask friends and family about where they've traveled.
Most honeymoons that do not end in disaster is usually because someone suggested the destination after having gone there themselves.
10.
Relax.
Relax.
Relax.
You'll be back to the rat race before you know it.
The honeymoon is a timeless tradition.
Don't overlook it.
Spend time on where you both want to go, always considering the kind of people you are.
Some couples are very active and love having a lot to do and many places to see and explore.
Other couples would rather just lie on a beach for the entire time.
The world is your playground.
Investigate what is out there.
And always compare prices, especially with the internet available to you.
That is usually where you'll find the best honeymoon deals.
Enjoy!
