Reynold Treats Jem's Broken Arm: Dr.
Reynold begins to treat the broken arm of Jem.
All the others head to the house front porch where Boo is standing in the comfort of the shadows.
Scout sits beside Boo Radley while Heck and Atticus argue who killed Bob.
Heck decides it is an accident while Atticus firmly believes his son killed Bob.
Heck says Bob fell flat with his knife on his chest and corrects Atticus on his speculations.
Sheriff Heck Tate's Decision: Heck Tate knows Boo Radley killed Bob Ewell, but does not want to involve Boo in the affair because he is aware that Boo values his privacy and does not want his name dragged into the limelight.
Atticus finally agrees to Heck Tate's suggestion and thanks Boo Radley for saving his children's lives.
Heck Tate says to bury Bob Ewell's body.
Tom Robinson is already dead for no apparent reason.
Arthur (Boo) Radley: Arthur Radley, whose nickname is Boo Radley, is the neighbor of Atticus.
He does not go out of his house, which really makes the kids wonder.
The children tried to make him come out of his house many times by using several tricks.
But for many years they had failed to get him to come out.
The Halloween night that Boo saves them from Bob Ewell is the only time that they see him come out of the house.
