    • 1). Drink a glass of water whenever you transition from one activity to the next. For example, drink one when you get up, then another when you leave the house, then another when you arrive at work, and so on.

    • 2). Drink from a large water bottle during the day. This will make water access a matter of just reaching for a bottle rather than trekking across the office.

    • 3). Drink a glass (or portion of your bottle) every hour, on the hour.

    • 4). Freeze slices of fruit and use them instead of ice. This will slightly flavor your water, thus making it easier to drink.

    • 5). Postpone a glass of soda or other sugary beverage until you've had the equivalent amount of water. So, if you want a 12 oz. soda, drink 12 oz. of water, then have the soda, and so on.

    • 6). Alternate alcoholic beverages with glasses of water.
