Here are some cool and fun ideals for the family to do.
Make your backyard summer activities fun and exciting.
Start now making a place for the family to play horseshoes in the back yard.
In a larger part of your yard take a tape measure and measure off an area of about forty feet long.
Drive one stake in the ground to mark the area.
Then once you have both of your stakes forty feet apart then you can take four (2x4's) eight feet long and nail or screw the ends together to form a large box.
Make the box around where your stakes are and fill the box with sand.
This is your playing field for the horseshoes and you can look the rules up on line.
You can by the horseshoe games at your local Wal-Mart store.
You and your family can spend hours playing this game in you own backyard.
You can do practically the same thing with other things, like beanbags, or even use large flat washers to play a game and make up your own rules to make it interesting.
If you and your family, like water; and water sports you can get a small family size pool to set up in the backyard as well.
You can also get the floating ball hoop and play water basketball, water keep away or water dodge ball.
Just remember to be safe and watch the little ones while around the water.
There are also other ways to enjoy the water while in the backyard.
You can take some sprinklers and hang them from or attach them to the trees in the yard.
Then play tag around the trees running through the sprinklers anyone who gets out of the range of the sprinkler is out of bounds and has to sit out a turn.
Furthermore, award prizes for the one who keep from being it the longest.
You can even create your own back yard fun summer activities.
All that is required is a creative imagination and some inventive skills.
The main point is to get out and enjoy your summer activities do not just sit inside and watch the floor warp or the hair fall off the dog.
Have fun and spend time with your family doing fun stuff.
