Looking For an Original Gift to Get Your Man? Try a "Man-pan"!
Why? I'll explain.
Want to know how to select the perfect frying pan for your man? You'll soon find out There are two types of men- those who love to cook and those who don't.
Those who don't like to cook: My father always says it's not that you don't like something, it's just no one taught you how to appreciate it.
Usually people who don't like to watch tennis are people who know nothing about tennis.
They have no idea about the complexity of the game, and why others bother to waste time following a ball being hit back and forth, while moving their head left to right,.
Same thing with kitchens and men, most of them were kicked out of the kitchen as children and were left with a sense of fear of the kitchen or a feeling of being clumsy in the kitchen.
Well, here is why a pan is such a good idea! 1.
It will give your man the feeling you trust him- he's not clumsy 2.
It will give your man a sense of importance- he's needed 3.
It will give your man a feeling he's learning the secret of the Holy Grail! 4.
It will give your man a new interest that might develop into a passion that will grant you some alone time! Best yet -It's a pan.
So? • It can't break.
• It cooks food men usually love to eat, so it's something they can identify with.
• It's easy to handle, operate and clean.
• Your man will never get you one- he'll know that you'll be offended, being the liberated women you are, so you are left with buying your own pans- but you can't really buy the expensive ones, because he won'tunderstand your reasoning and you prefer to avoid the crisis.
But, as a gift for HIM, he can't criticize the expense and, in the worst case, if he doesn't fall in love with the kitchen, you still win by having that great new fry pan in your kitchen cabinet.
Those who do like to cook I believe any man who likes to do anything around the house that under other circumstances would become my task should be motivated to keep on doing just that! If cooking is something they love than a pan is an easy choice because it is just like a guitar and has the same influence on men.
They feel empowered by the extension of their arm holding within a force that makes them stronger (that is why guitar players always lean forward on a bended knee, they are imagining the guitar is launching missiles at Piano players) and the frying pan is a masculine piece of equipment that holds the force of fire within it, making them capable of sizzling a steak, just before their team comes onto the field and their beer bottle is opened.
That is why it's nothing like if you say: "Hi honey, I got you a porcelain tea set", though you would love to have another one of those, too.
How to select a "Man-Pan"? 1.
Men like big- whatever pan you select, now take a size larger.
2.
Men like practical- no decorations, colors, spouts or designs 3.
Men like to feel powerful- a heavy pan (cast Iron, hard anodized) is better than a light weight, thin bodied fry pan 4.
Men like gadgets- any advantage regarding the pan they can appreciate is a good idea- such as a diamond coat that is scratch proof would be a good idea, because they can be rough with the pan without damaging it.
5.
Men appreciate men chefs- if Gordon Ramsey uses it that's great, if Rachel Ray loves it, well, not so great (he might think it's great but what will he tell his mates: "Hey Bro, my lady got me this great Rachel Ray pan"?).
You can also see in their designs, Gordon Ramsey has harder lined designed pans that look like race cars whereas Rachel Ray has softer curved designed pans that are just as wonderful but the Orange handles are probably more fabulous to our feminine eyes.
If anyone disagrees with the above please know all the above was written with respect and a lot of love, and is meant to be humorous, so if you are in any way offended, I do apologize.
Enjoy! Michele Blu
