Often times people have the misconception that in order to get a whiter smile you need to spend crazy amounts of money on professional laser whitening.
This couldn't be further from the truth, and is the reason why many people simply resign to the fact that they have to live with their yellow teeth.
But this article will provide you with four simple tips you can use to get a smile that will be the envy of all your friends.
Step #1 Eat Your Vegetables On the surface of things this little tip may seem absurd, and you might think this is just a ploy by me to get you to eat healthier.
Not so.
Certain vegetables have been shown to have abrasive qualities which serve to scrub away stains from your teeth.
For this to work, you'll want to stick with celery, carrots, broccoli, and cucumbers.
Step #2: Brush Your Teeth with Baking Soda You'll never hear your dentist tell you about this little secret.
Brushing with baking soda not only removes stains from your teeth, but it also helps to combat plaque and it can reduce acids which end up damaging the enamel on your teeth.
If you're going to use this secret though, make sure to go easy on your gums.
Step #3 Swish Peroxide around your Mouth No, this little tidbit of information won't end up killing you.
It's safe to swish over the counter peroxide around your mouth, but it can cause tooth sensitivity over time.
What you want to do is first brush your teeth normally, and then swish the peroxide around your mouth for a little over 30 seconds before rinsing with water.
Step #4 Cut back on bad habits This is an easy one.
Stop engaging in bad habits that will lead to having yellow teeth in the first place.
This includes smoking, drinking wine (coffee and coke), and just in general things that you think will have a negative impact on your smile.
