Setting up your own review site is a great way to get started in Internet marketing.
Not only can you promote more than one product on a site, you also can attract consumers at the end of the buying cycle, converting to more sales for you.
It doesn't have to be difficult to set up your own review site - simply by installing WordPress and a WordPress review site theme, you can have your Internet business up and running in no time! First, you need to install WordPress to your hosting account.
I use Hostgator, and they make it very easy to do using Fantastico.
After WordPress is installed, you'll need to find a theme for your review site.
Starting at the WordPress site, you'll quickly find that most of the free themes are set up for blogging, which wouldn't work for a static site.
You can change what you need to around if you know HTML, but that can be time consuming, which also costs you money.
(The longer it takes to get your site up, the less time it has to improve in its Google rankings and make sales.
)A better option is to find a WordPress theme designed for review sites.
There are several designers that have review themes out there, but most cost between $70-$100.
You want to look for a template that is easily customizable, so you can use it on more than one project.
Also, look for a theme that comes with support.
Most importantly, look for something that's easy to use so you don't have to mess with the HTML.
