Japanese N64 Games
- The Nintendo 64 is the third video gaming console released by the Japanese company Nintendo. Featuring 64-bit graphics and four controller ports, the Nintendo 64 made its debut in the United States in 1996. Nintendo 64 players have many game titles to choose from, including some made by Japanese game designers or featuring Japanese characters and stories.
- Natsume released the Japanese fighting game "Flying Dragon" for Nintendo 64 in July 1998. Developed by Culture Brain, "Flying Dragon" is rated suitable for players 13 and older. "Flying Dragon" lets players choose between multiple fighter characters and compete against real or computer opponents. Players can wear down enemies by hitting them in the same place multiple times, and each fighter has unique combat techniques. Before engaging in battle, players can try out a training mode to test and perfect their fighting skills.
- The Japanese game company Konami released "Mystical Ninja starring Goemon" for the Nintendo 64 system in March of 1998. "Mystical Ninja" was created by Konami Osaka and is rated suitable for gamers of any age. Players alternate between Japanese characters to traverse different areas of Japan in search of clues pointing to a terrorist act. Players are given different moves for each character and must fend off enemies en route to finding out the truth.
- The Japanese company Nintendo released "Pokemon Snap" for its own Nintendo 64 console in June of 1999. The game was developed by Hal and is rated appropriate for players of all ages. Players must travel across different lands with their camera in an attempt to take photographs of every type of Pokemon, or pocket monster, in the game. Pokemon are fictional creatures that range in size, appearance, and ability. The pictures that are taken earn different ratings depending on their quality.
- Designed by Japanese game specialist Shigeru Miyamoto, "Super Mario 64" was released in September of 1996 exclusively for the Nintendo 64 system. The game was developed by Nintendo EAD and is rated acceptable for players of all ages. "Super Mario 64" challenges players to save the kidnapped Princess Peach while collecting stars to open up new worlds and reach new battles against villains.
