Nutrition for height growth – Foods to gain height

Proper nutrition is essential for height growth as it provides a stimulus to the bones and muscles to grow naturally. A fully nutritious diet includes all the essential vitamins, minerals, amino acids, calcium and protein. In order to make it easier to follow a diet plan that includes everything, there are four important things to know regarding nutrition for height growth under different categories of foods to gain height as under:

1. Energizers: The first thing is the energy that our body needs for all its activities, right from a morning or an evening walk to the most strenuous exercise. It is good to start your day by taking a cup of warm water, which is mixed with honey, fresh lemon juice and a pinch of salt to cleanse your body and to provide quick energy. That does not end here. You need to take fruits that are full of calories needed for your exercises and workouts. In this category, you may also include one or two small drinks of beverages like iced tea or lemonade per day.

2. Bone builders: Our body needs natural foods to gain height by developing the bones. Calcium is the main nutrient for bone health, and we get it in plenty from the dairy products like milk, cheese, yogurt and butter, but this category of foods to gain height should be low fat as too much fat works negatively on our body to gain weight rather than gain height.  It is less of fat and more of calcium that we need as nutrition for height growth.

3. Muscle developers: They can grow in length if it is quickly supported by building and stretching of the muscle. When the bone is in the process of gaining length, the muscle stretches to form a sheath over it. We need proteins in the form of beans and other pulses including grains and cereals. We also get plenty of protein from meat. However, white meat like that of chicken and turkey is preferable as it has lower fat.

4. Metabolism boosters: High-protein and high-calcium diet go waste if our metabolism is sluggish. We should also take care of our metabolism by taking seeds, nuts and fresh vegetables. These are a good source of amino acids that are very important in nutrition for height growth because these are the building blocks of protein that makes the body grow.
