How to Remove Dog Urine From Concrete
- 1). Locate urine stains on the concrete with a black light. Hold the light 3 inches above the concrete and search for any stains that glow so you can focus on cleaning these areas.
- 2). Combine ½ gallon of white vinegar in a large bucket with 4 cups of water. If you need a large amount of this solution, mix together 2 parts of vinegar with 1 part of water.
- 3). Soak a bristled scrub brush in the bucket. Scrub the urine areas in a circular motion. Continue to soak the scrub brush in the vinegar solution and scrub the area thoroughly.
- 4). Sprinkle baking soda over the vinegar. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes, then scrub to create a paste that will absorb the odors and draw out any moisture.
- 5). Apply a commercial enzyme cleaner to the area for heavy stains. Follow the directions on the product carefully.
- 6). Rinse the areas with a water hose. Spray urine areas to push the solution off the cement.
