How to Treat Poison Ivy Rashes and Blisters

Have you been in contact with poison ivy and afraid that you might have poison ivy rash?  It is very difficult to have this kind of rash.
Not only is it very itchy; it also takes a relatively long time to heal.
 If you suspect that you have been infected with the oil from poison ivy, the first thing that you should do is to get rid of the oil in your body.
  Wash your hands with running water to remove the oil from poison-ivy plant that cause the rash.
 Next, use a rubbing alcohol on the affected areas so that all the remaining oil will separate from your skin.
 Take off all of your clothes and put them in separate area.
 Don't include them with the other dirty clothes.
 Also, clean other parts of your body such as your hair and your feet.
 Even if you feel that they didn't touch the plant, it is best that you clean all exposed areas with soap and then with rubbing alcohol.
You should also clean all the things that got in contact with the plant such as your bag, shoes, socks and your clothes.
  Take calamine lotion to ease the itch.
 Rashes from poison ivy will give you almost unbearable itch.
 Apply this topical lotion to reduce the itchiness.
 There is really no treatment for rashes.
 All you really need to do is to wait for a few days for it to go away.
But if you cannot bear the itch, there are a number of ways to treat it and as mentioned, calamine lotion is one of them.
You can also go to your doctor and check other ways by which you can treat the poison ivy itch.
 Your doctor can also recommend other ways to treat blisters if ever they develop.
