June is a great month in Indianapolis. The warm weather has settled in and there's a lot of great events. This month, outdoor concerts take center stage. Enjoy great meals at a fraction of the price during the Midtown Chow Down event and take in some of the best theater of the year at various venues across the city. And don't forget one of the most popular kids events in the entire year and it's completely free! Mark you calendars so you don't miss out on any of these great events!


'Peter Pan'


It's a childhood classic and now it's life at Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre!Peter Pan is currently on stage through July 3, 2015.  It's the classic tale of the boy who never grows up and his adventures in Neverland and with the Darling children. One night, Peter visits the Darling nursery, where he befriends the three children and teaching them to fly, whisks them off to a magical world called Neverland. There, the children face crocodiles, goofy pirates, a tribe of Indians, a wild group of "Lost Boys" and of course, Captain Hook.Enjoy dinner and the show with each ticket, ranging in price from $40-$65. Because Peter Pan is considered a family show, there is a $10 discount per ticket for all shows for children ages 3-15.

Chow Down Midtown


Everyone enjoys a good meal and now you can dine in midtown Indianapolis for a great deal! Chow Down Midtown restaurants feature a 3-course dinner menu for a great price. A Night at the Movies


The award-winning Circle City Sound Chorus has been entertaining audiences since 1948. During 2013 the chorus finished 7th in the world in the Barbershop Harmony Society’s international competition held in Toronto, Canada. This performance will be an opportunity to relive hits of the past as they present A Night at the Movies, a salute to the great soundtracks presented in the all-American style of a cappella 4-part harmony that is Barbershop. Tickets range is price from $23-$28.

PBS Kids in the Park


This is a great event for families with younger children. Meet your favorite PBS Kids characters including Alpha Pig from Super Why, Daniel Tiger, Curious George, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Sid the Science Kid, Princess Presto from Super Why, The Cat in the Hat and many more! This event includes lots of freebies and games from vendors, inflated bounce houses, non-stop entertainment and much more. Best of all - it's completely free!

Darius Rucker: Southern Style Tour 2015


Darius Rucker made a name for himself in the 90s as the lead singer for Hootie and the Blowfish and is now performing country music. This concert lineup includes Darius Rucker, Brothers Osborne, Brett Eldredge and A Thousand Horses.Tickets range in price from $29.25 to $49.

Chilling Chatham Arch-Lockerbie Ghost Walk


Looking for something delightfully frightening? Consider a trip through Indy's macabre history. Learn of the murder of Dr. Helene Knabe, Cockroach Row, James Whitcomb Riley, Old St. Joe and their hauntings on this walking tour. Reservations are required.
