Even if you wish to stay in villas in quieter locations, it is wonderful to spend a day here, soaking up the atmosphere.
Attractions here include the Cathedral of Menorca and the Plaza del Mercat, and if you visit in June then you may be able to enjoy the annual Festival of Saint John - one of the best festivals on the island.

One of the main features of this quaint town is the peaceful Old Town, and you absolutely must not miss out on the delicious ice cream sold at the parlours throughout the town.
If you feel a bit adventurous then there is a hill nearby which you can climb and it is not too strenuous.

You could take a trip to Cap de Penyes which is an ancient fortified village, or visit the Bronze Age settlement of Torre d'en Galmés which also boasts stunning views out over the ocean.
