Remove and Change Ribbon

• 1). Place the veil on a flat surface. To keep the veil from moving, you may want to pin the headpiece of the veil to a piece of cardboard that you have taped down to the table or flat surface.
  
  
• 2). Cut along the outer edge of the veil as close as possible to where the ribbon meets the veil. Discard the old ribbon once you have it all removed from the veil.
  
  
• 3). Fold the new ribbon you want to add to the veil so it overlaps the edge of the veil. Use the straight pins to pin the new ribbon into place.
  
  
• 4). Sew a seam into the ribbon to attach it to the veil.
  
  

Overlay

• 1). Place the veil on a flat surface and spread the veil out.
  
  
• 2). Place the new ribbon over the old ribbon, if the old ribbon is narrower than the new embellishment. Pin the new ribbon to the veil so it looks exactly how you want to look when attached to the veil.
  
  
• 3). Stitch the new ribbon to the veil and press it flat with a warm, not hot, iron.
