Early teams set up their tents

Relay for Life is a fundraising event sponsored by the American Cancer Society.
Early teams of college students set up their tents in preparation for the 12-hour Relay for Life at Bobcat Stadium, Texas State University, in San Marcos, Texas. As the 7 p.m. opening time approached, this field filled with tents and people. Music began to play from a tent near the fieldhouse. Sixty-eight teams registered, with 548 participants, and 30 survivors. The goal for this event was to raise $55,000 for cancer research.
A total of $67,083.00 was raised!
