Having the right plan, one that doesn't beat you up with brutal workouts or starve you with a ridiculous eating plan, is the most important piece in making the right lifestyle change that will lead you to being able to lose weight effortlessly.

In order to stay energized, eat five to six small meals everyday. This also helps your metabolism. Eat a protein with most meals, including eggs, beans, lean cuts of meats as well as fish. We need to try to eat a minimum of five servings and up to nine servings of fruits and vegetables daily. If you are watching your sugars, also watch the amount of fruit you are consuming. Dont try to lose weight. The number one indicator of excessive weight gain in the future is attempting to lose weight in the past. Dont diet, it wont last. Instead get up and go get more exercise.

But what you may NOT have heard of are the other two major Asian teas that when combined together offer far more of a metabolic boost that can have you burning up to 40% more fat cells during the day: White tea and Oolong tea.

Several people do not track or think about the amount of calories in their beverages. A regular flavored cola has more than 100 calories and 10 teaspoons of sugars. Fruit drinks are also high in sugar and calories. Switch to diet drinks and drink more green tea and water.

If a routine exercise routine is complicated for you, try to walk more frequently. Some people think that walking isn't real exercise but let me tell you, it certainly is.

The research on walking is amazing. Walking is now known to be one of the best health supporting exercises you can do, if done on a regular basis.

Ultimately weight loss is about the balance between calories taken in and calories burned. Take the weight you want to be and the activity level that you maintain and calculate the number of calories that you should eat to maintain that weight. Now you have to eat fewer calories than this number, on average, over time to lose weight and achieve your target. Keep a food diary with full daily calorie calculations. Write down everything.
