There is nothing quite as uncomfortable as stomach acid reflux, and for those of us that suffer from this problem regularly, there is really nothing that we would like more than to get rid of it altogether.
It helps if you understand the causes of stomach acid reflux, along with the natural ways to reduce the amount of suffering that you have.
Here is a little bit of information about heartburn, and some warnings that may actually save your life.
The first thing that I would like to tell you is, the pain that is experienced from stomach acid reflux often appears as pain within the area of the chest.
You need to be cautious, because this same pain may also be indicative of a heart problem and perhaps even a heart attack.
If you have any pain in the chest, even if you think that it is acid reflux, it is a good idea to look for any other symptoms which may show that it is something more.
Anytime that you have nausea along with pain in the chest, or if you have pain in the arms, neck, jaw or shoulders, seek immediate medical attention.
Do not assume that it is stomach acid reflux, get it checked out in order to make sure.

Whenever you do not have enough stomach acid, your body is not able to effectively digest the food that you put into it.
You need to build the stomach acid into natural levels, and to keep from getting too much of it at the same time.
This is done by eating raw leafy, green vegetables, either in the form of a salad or perhaps in a green smoothie.
Believe me, this will make a quick difference in the amount of acid that you are experiencing.
If you are having about of acid reflux at this time and would like a quick way to get over it, you should take some apple cider vinegar.
A spoonful of apple cider vinegar which is put far enough back in your mouth to bypass the taste buds will quickly make any heartburn disappear.
Be cautious, however, as you would not want to overdo it at one time.
It may be beneficial for you to also include a little bit of apple cider vinegar and water in drink it on a daily basis.
People not only do this for stomach acid reflux, they do it in order to keep themselves healthy in a number of different ways.
Finally, make sure that you keep yourself as healthy as possible, as this will make the most difference in your general health.
If you are overweight, go on a healthy course of diet and exercise in order to lose the weight.
If you drink too much or if you smoke, look for a way to be able to remedy that situation and overcome it.
The more that you can do to make yourself healthy, the less experience with heartburn you are going to have.
