How to Make Your Kitchen Sink Drain Clear and Fresh
- 1). Find the biggest pot you can handle. Fill this with water and set on the stove on high to boil.
- 2). Pour the baking soda down your kitchen sink drain. Push and work it down into the sink drain as much as possible. Pour vinegar down drain a little bit at a time, about a tablespoon at a time will work best. As the baking soda foams up, give it a few seconds before adding more vinegar until all baking soda has turned to foam.
- 3). Let that sit and work for a few minutes in the kitchen sink drain while water is heating to a boil. Pour the boiling water down the kitchen sink drain, washing away the baking soda and vinegar foam. The foam should have broken up the fatty deposits and killed the odor causing bacteria. The boiling water will help wash it all away.
