The human papillomavirus, or HPV, is a viral infection that forms embarrassing and unsightly warts as the highly visible symptom that the virus is present in the skin. This procedure could be repeated a couple of times each day. A small quantity of the apple cider vinegar when added to the hot water that is used for soaking treatment, could increase the effectiveness of the treatment method.

3. Aloe Vera Application - Aloe vera gel has three important medicinal properties that make it a valuable natural health aid and a great ointment for the elimination of warts. Aloe is a topical analgesic so it helps to control discomfort and itching from the wart and its anti-inflammatory characteristics help to restrict nourishment to the HPV virus. Its antiseptic qualities help to kill the virus that is the source of the wart. Aloe vera gel application can be done anytime but it is recommended that a layer is put on at night before retiring.

4. Tape Warts - Yet another well known method for removing warts is to cover them up with a duct tape for about a week's time. By doing this, you cut off the air supply to the air warts and without air, the HPV virus cannot survive. Cut a piece of duct tape slightly larger than the wart and press it firmly down on the wart. Be sure that there are no air pockets inside. Allow the tape to remain for about 7-8 days after which it can be removed. By now the wart tissue would have been completely dead and it could be easily removed by scraping it off with a pumice stone or any other abrasive material.
