    • 1). Click the "Start" menu followed by "Control Panel." Click the "System and Security" option, then "Security." This will bring you to your computer's system properties menu. Alternatively, you may also right-click "My Computer" and select "Properties."

    • 2). Click "Settings," which is found on the Performance section. Browse to the "Advanced" tab and click "Change" from the Virtual Memory section.

    • 3). Enable the option to "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives." As a result, your operating system will grant the required virtual memory to your DVD software as necessary. To insert a custom memory size, deselect such options and input a "Minimal Size" and a "Maximum Size" in their respective fields. In turn, you are providing your DVD software (and all computer tasks) more than the required amount for maximum stability and performance.

    • 4). Click "Set" to apply all system settings, followed by "OK" to exit the menu in question.
