Your Acupuncture Practice - What"s Your Vision
Or perhaps your doors have been open for years, and you're just barely hanging on.
Maybe the marketing tactics that you've been using haven't been wildly effective, but you don't know what else to do.
Whatever the circumstances, you're ready for a steady stream of patients.
The most important thing you can do to build the practice you desire is to be really clear as to what it is you desire-your vision.
Whether you are just beginning your practice or have been in practice for several years, a vision of what you want your practice to be is essential.
If you have no vision, how do you know what you're working toward? How will you know that you are successful until you define success? It's not enough to just open your doors and want to make a living.
What does that mean? Who will you see and what will you treat? What kind of practice will make you happy? What will your practice look like in five years? How much do you need to make to be making a living? Who are your perfect patients? Your vision should be a clear picture of what you want your practice to be.
It should include your definition of success-not that of anybody else.
It should be a picture of your absolute best case scenario for what you want both for you and your practice.
If you don't have a clear vision of what you want your practice to be, spend some time clarifying what you want and where your practice is going.
Try this: relax, close your eyes, and imagine your perfect practice.
Take into account all of the possible details of who, what, where, when, and how you will build and work in your practice.
After you have filled in all the possible details in your imagination, open your eyes, and write them down.
You now have a blueprint for what you want for you and your practice.
When you have a picture of where you're going, it is so much easier to get there from here.
