How to Combine Essential Oils to Make New Scents
- 1). Place a tablespoon of water in a small bowl to make warming oil, or 1 ounce of vodka for a perfume blend.
- 2). Using the eyedropper, add 6 drops of grapefruit oil, 4 drops of lavender oil, 3 drops of orange oil, 2 drops of ylang-ylang oil and 1 drop of lemon oil to the bowl.
- 3). Stir gently to combine oils.
- 4). Use the small funnel to carefully pour the mixture into a glass vial or bottle.
- 5). Store the bottle in a cool, dry place for a few weeks before using to allow the oils to fully blend together.
