How to Decorate for a Church Wedding
- 1). Before buying flowers know the layout of the church. Alter is where most of the flowers will go. Place them evenly around the alter but not in the way of the photographer or audience.
- 2). Depending on the season, you can add festive decor accordingly. Fall, use leaves, pumpkins, squash, etc. Winter, use poinsettias, small real or fake pine trees, etc. Spring and Summer anything goes.
- 3). AS for the flower selection that is up to you. Go inexpensive as the flowers are usually left behind. Just make sure the pews have flowers on the ends and that the alter area is decorated but not blanketed with flowers or decor.
- 4). Put seasonal decor in front of the alter and the other flowers on the alter' s platform/steps edges. Keep flowers out of walking areas.
- 5). Flowers that are good and cheap are mums, callolilies, poinsettias, daisies, sunflowers, etc.
- 6). Have fun with wedding planning and the church but before decorating make sure you know what is acceptable and not as each church is different.
