Article Submission Tips - How to Get Your Articles Accepted Right Away

One of the things that I hate when doing article marketing is getting a message from publishers telling me that some of my articles where rejected and that I need to revise and resend them for approval.
For me, this is a total waste of time and energy.
I've realized that the best thing to do to combat this problem is to do the process right the first time.
Here's how you can do that: Before you submit your articles to any directories or blog, ensure that you take time to read their do's and don'ts or their terms of service.
You need to fully understand what they want and you need to make sure that your articles comply with their requirements to ensure that they will not be rejected.
Keep in mind that different directories have different rules and regulations.
Ensure that your articles are unique.
One of the most common reasons why several articles are rejected by publishers is because of content duplication.
This means that the article or at least a part of it was copied directly from other online resources.
No publisher will tolerate this.
So, ensure that you use your own words when writing your articles.
If you're using the services of ghostwriters, check the articles they're written using copyscape first before you distribute them to directories.
Keyword density.
Don't get too excited when sprinkling keywords on your content.
Remember, most publishers will not allow more than 2% keyword density.
That means, if your articles contain at least 800 words, you should only use your keywords 8-16 times all throughout your content.
Also, make sure that your keywords are at least 50-100 words apart to avoid issues about keyword stuffing.
Length of the articles.
Your articles should contain at least 300 words.
As for the maximum number of words, I'd go with 800 although some publishers will accept articles that contain more.
But you need to remember that online users do not really like those articles that are too long so you'd be safe with 300-800 words.
Don't get too excited to pitch in your products and services.
Do not mention what you offer on your article body.
Remember, publishers prefer articles that are informative and those that have what it takes to educate online users.
The only place where you should mention what you offer would be on your resource box.
Proofread your articles.
Publishers will not be happy to do the proofreading for you.
So, make sure that your articles are ready for publishing when submitting them.
Check them out for grammar, syntax, spelling, and other errors.
Ensure that they're flawless so you'll increase your articles' chances of getting accepted and published right away.
Resource box.
Take all the time that you need and use your persuasion skills when writing your resource box.
In here, you're allowed to talk about yourself, your website, and what you sell.
However, you need to keep it brief.
It shouldn't contain more than 5 short sentences.
