< Continued from page 1
Colleen summons Belle and Shawn over to her bed and tells them that they’re the future of the family, then professes to love them both. She shares a heartfelt hug with a weepy Belle. Colleen assures Bo that even though he doesn’t have the Brady blood flowing through his veins, he has the Brady spirit. She jokes how she heard how Bo was quite a rebel and occasionally a pain in the “arse.” She tells Hope to stand by her man, predicting that they’ll have a long and happy life together.
Grandpa Shawn is overwhelmed and cries how he doesn’t want to lose her. Kayla sits down beside Colleen and wishes she could do something to help. Colleen refers to Kayla as a healer, then encourages Marlena to come closer, referring to her as a tower of strength in the family. She then requests time alone with her brother and son before sharing a hug with Kayla. Hope hugs Colleen and says she’ll never forget her. Bo admits that he’s always thought of himself as a Brady and always will. Shawn hugs Colleen and vows to never let Claire forget her. Grandpa Shawn then sits with his sis. Belle hands the medallion to John, asking him to give it to Sami. John walks over and drops it in the trash, then asks Marlena how much more time Colleen has.
Outside the room, Belle remarks what an amazing woman Colleen is, which Hope agrees with and remarks how Sami should be there. Shawn suggests they all go downstairs, but Bo wants to stay right there in case Pop needs him. Bo stresses how important it is that they be there for Pop when Colleen’s dead and gone.
Back in Colleen’s room, Grandpa Shawn blames himself for doing this to Colleen, since he told the truth about Santo. Colleen predicts that the truth would’ve come out eventually, as it always does. “Don’t leave me Leenie,” he pleads. Colleen encourages him to remember their childhood together, as it’s how she wants him to remember her. They embrace and profess to love each other. Marlena helps Grandpa Shawn up. Colleen begs John to let her hold him one last time. A reluctant John finally obliges. Marlena is overcome with emotion witnessing Colleen’s joy in hugging her son. She exits the room and summons the others to come back inside, predicting it won’t be long. They enter and witness Colleen’s arms around John, professing to love him. “Please John, do as your mother asked. Hold me in your arms one last time,” she begs. John complies as the others witness her die in John’s arms. John briefly touches her face as the others watch. Grandpa Shawn kisses his sister one last time. Bo covers Colleen’s body up, then hugs his pop as silence fills the air.
Everyone except for John and Marlena comes back downstairs where Philip and Chloe are. Grandpa Shawn is in disbelief that his sister is really gone. Belle asks Phil if Steve and Claire are still out. Phil relays how Steve was treating Claire to some ice cream. Shawn and Belle vow to never forget Colleen. Belle offers to make some tea, but Chloe steps in and offers to fetch some, suggesting that the two of them should be together. Belle tells Shawn that Chloe’s right, in that they do need each other right now. Philip approaches Bo, Grandpa Shawn, Kayla, and Hope and apologizes for their loss, then offers to help out in any way he can. He then informs Kayla that Lexie called and sounded like it was important. She thanks Phil for the message.
Meanwhile, Shawn and Belle discuss their marriage and wonder if things could work between them. Shawn admits he’s not angry anymore for what she’s done, and he and Philip have made peace. He says he wants to try, then touches her hand
Outside, Kayla phones Lexie and briefly fills her in on the recent events. Lexie gives her some grave news and warns her that things could be worse than they expected. She warns Kayla that Hope needs to know and prepare. Dr. Carver then proceeds to share some good news with Kayla. “You’re pregnant,” she happily reveals.
Back upstairs, Marlena asks John what he’s feeling. “My mother is dead. What do you think I should be feeling?” he retorts. “Sadness, grief, anger, love?” she surmises. Marlena suspects he’s feeling something. “I feel, like calling that jet and getting the hell out of here,” he grimly states before gazes over at his mother one last time. Marlena notes how she can see something in his eyes. “Are you remembering?” she questions. John says no before Marlena exits the room. He slowly walks over to Colleen’s body and uncovers her. “Goodbye Mom,” he says before kissing her on the forehead and covering her back up again. We see a glimmer of humanity in John as his eyes well up with tears.
