"One Life to Live" Recap for Monday, September 13, 2010
Jessica goes to see Brody and he apologizes to her for running off. He begins to get haunted by his conscience for sleeping with Natalie and proposes to Jess. At first Jessica doesn’t believe it’s such a good idea until Brody tells her he’s going to love this child even if it’s not his, just how he loves Bree. He gets down on one knee and Jess hugs him. Natalie meets John at the shooting range and he tells her that he thinks the Eli’s DNA was corrupted.
They try to figure out what Eli did and believe that he’d to given Blair a gun filled with blanks and a planted a body in his place. Both agree that he’s still alive and that Ross may be doing his dirty work.
Destiny, Darren, Shaun and Dr. Rite have lunch at the Buenos Dias Café. Shaun asks when Greg was going to arrive. He’s shocked to hear that he told Destiny that he was going on a retreat and was still upset about Tea. Shaun still thinks his brother is acting odd. Rite asks Dest and Darren if they are using protection, which makes Shaun very uncomfortable. The teens confess they haven’t had sex and are aware of using protection. Darren attempts to gain Shaun’s respect. Layla tells Cris that they both should take their jobs and fulfill their dreams, thinking they’d only be away from each other a year. After finding out she has to go to Paris in a week he thinks they should get married before she leaves but Layla doesn’t think it’s a good idea to get married anymore.
Dr. Evans finds Eli inside Tea’s old hospice bed all bruised and bandaged up and is in disbelief. Elijah demands him to keep helping him otherwise he’d kill his family.
Eli explains how he put loaded the gun with blanks that Blair shot him with and that he intentionally set the fire and with his brother’s help he faked his death. Dani tells Todd the truth that she thinks the text message was from Ross, telling him about the game they used to play. Unaware of someone spying on them from outside, Todd warns her to stay away from Ross. She tells him even though he’s her biological father she still considers Ross her dad. Todd is touched when his daughter tells him she considers him as her dad and asks why she never calls him dad. She confesses that she thinks it’s sounded strange and decides to give it a try and says “hi dad”, just as Ross lets himself in.
