I still remember when I purchased my very first duvet cover set. This was a couple of years ago when I had a full time job as a employee at a very tough Corporation and also a full time job as a mom. Coming home tired and exhausted from my 8 hour labor and having to go home and take care of my family and home was not easy at all. Even though I was tired from all the work I had done that day, I always loved coming home, not just because I wanted to take off my shoes and relax which was not possible because of all the work that had to be done but I always loved seeing my beautiful home. My bed was always my main focus in the room. I would first decide on what bedding set I should use for my bed. Then when I had the right comforter set, I would move on to the wall and decors. Wow, the old comforter set. You can't even imagine how much money I spent replacing comforters. The majority of comforters have to be dry cleaned which meant lots of money coming out of my pockets. I didn't want to have to waste all my salary on dry cleaning so I would purchase comforters that where machine washable. Yes, they were very hard to find. My daughter at the time was almost a year old and spent allot of time on my bed. Which meant I spent allot of time cleaning baby formula and dirty diapers. I also spent plenty of times washing my comforter because of this. After a few washes, my comforter was wrecked and I would have to go and buy new bedding.

One day, someone very close to me told me about duvet covers. How duvet covers help protect your comforters. After a few minutes I was convinced and purchased one onlne. I always look for quality first and then look for a good price. I rather pay $100.00 for a good quality bedding that will last me years and years, then $30.00 for one that will not last a year. So you will end up spending more replacing a bedding set that you thought was pretty cheap then paying just a little more for one that will last a life time. After only a few days, i quickly received my package and teared open the box and there it was, a gorgeous floral duvet cover set. I brought a floral duvet set that had beautiful pink and green daises all around. It was wrapped up in a elegant box. I was completely flabbergasted. It was gorgeous! I noticed how the comforter cover had an open end with snaps, looked almost like a giant pillow case but even better. I placed the comforter cover on my bed and wondered what I had to do next. My biggest mistake was trying to push the comforter inside the comforter cover. After a few seconds I figured out a better way of doing this. I would turn the duvet cover inside out and lay it on top of the comforter. I put my arms inside the duvet cover and follow the seams up until I gripped the corners at the opposite end of the opening holding the duvet cover firmly. I Would shake the duvet cover down over the comforter and fasten the open end of the cover. I was finished. It was much easier then I thought it would be. I quickly place the fitted sheet over the mattress, covered my pillows with the shams and placed the queen floral duvet cover over it. Wow, my bedroom looked beautiful.

The best thing about the duvet cover was that I could change the look of my room whenever I wanted because the cover was reversible. I got to washed my bed set as often as I wanted and didn't have to throw out any of my old comforters. I saved tons of money not having to get my duvet set dry cleaned which was an extra bonus. I loved the fact that I did not have to buy bed sheets for the summer. I could use the duvet cover alone on those hot summer nights and place a duvet inside in the winter. Many years have passed and I'm still purchasing duvet covers. I loved them so much, that I make a living selling duvet covers sets online.
