• 1). Calling 877-322-8228 Annual Credit Report. Request the "Credit report" form. This will be sent to you via the US Postal Service.
  
  
• 2). Fill out the form legibly in ink. Make sure you provide complete and accurate information, including your Social Security Number and current residential address.
  
  
• 3). Send the form in to Annual Credit Report. This is a free service where you can receive one free report annually.

Request a Credit Report Online

• 1). Go to the Annual Credit Report website at www.annualcreditreport.com.
  
  
• 2). Select the state you live in through the drop-menu, then hit "request report".
  
  
• 3). Fill out the menu online. It will ask you for your name, Social Security Number and residence. Click "Next."
  
  
• 4). Select the credit reporting company you want a report from: TransUnion, Experian, and/or Equifax.
  
  
• 5). Validate the request by inputting the last four digits of your Social Security Number. Click "Submit."
  
  
• 6). Review your report.
