Meditation - It"s Great

How many times have you woken up tired, weary from the night before and wish you could spend a bit longer in bed? When you wake up do you feel snappy, irritable and moody? Wondering how you are going to fit in the 101 things on your to-do list? Do you glance at your partner and wish he would do more to help you around the house? And when your children call "mum, have you seen my PE kit", do you feel frustrated, sigh and say, "look in your bottom drawer?" When you wake up like this how does the rest of your day look? Do you dread going into work, fearful of what you might find in your email inbox? Mentally wondering how you can stretch the day to fit in your work commitments and still make it home in time to prepare diner.
It's enough to make you want to stay in bed...
so when you finally crawl out of bed how you do feel? Would You Like To Wake Up Energised? How would you like to wake up energised, on-task, looking forward to work and to give your all to your employees? Can you imagine how great you would feel, if every morning you could ease into your day, stress-free, calm and relaxed? Wouldn't it be lovely if you could capture that "Happy-Feel-Good-Vacation Feeling" anytime you like.
To feel energised and in good shape, cheerful and relaxed.
Believe it or not, you can.
You can wake up, rejuvenated, worry-free and on-top of it all.
Meditation Is The Key Meditation is the key.
Like you, I was stressed.
My life was full of worry, unpaid bills, and struggle.
I wanted a way out.
I knew there had to be a better way of living, of being, yet the how-s and why's eluded me.
On the tube I saw people look serene and content and wondered what their secret was.
My motivation and ability to work was slipping and I knew changes had to be made.
Luckily, my employees provided counselling.
And at the advice of my Senior Manager, I was referred to counselling.
That was the turning point.
Introduction To Meditation Part of the counselling process included looking at ways I could calm and control the myriad of thoughts flowing through my mind.
My counsellor offered a full holistic service which included yoga and meditation techniques.
Benefits Of Breathing Technique He suggested I set myself the target to take a few minutes before going to bed, sit on the side of bed, rest my feet on the floor and take a few deep breaths in and out through my nose.
My counsellor showed me what he meant and we spent the rest of that session, practicing sitting quietly and breathing.
At the end of the session, I couldn't believe how much calmer and clearer I felt.
I was so used to the muddle of thoughts and emotions flooding my mind that to actually have a clear, quiet space in my head was amazing...
I felt liberated and unburdened.
When I got home, I found I had more energy to listen to my children.
Everything was the same as when I left home that morning, yet I didn't feel pulled in so many directions, or feel like I was working myself to the bone and running ragged.
My children could feel the shift in my energy.
We laughed and had a fun family evening meal.
Something magical had happened.
I had taken the first steps in learning how to mediate and life would never be the same.
