Should someone dream about becoming an Indian cricketer or should he or she dream about not being poor? Poverty and achievement are two contradictory ideals in the world.
We as individuals should we worry about our daily welfare or others worldly pursuits and achievements.
Man has become discontented over the turn of the century.
People have become more ill minded and discontented, society per say now is becoming more and more degenerate.
There are people who hold very high positions only because of political motives and bank balances where purchasing everything in the world with Money is become defacto.
In this context the world has two types of persons, one who produces and contributes to society and the others who manipulate fellow people in order for themselves to live happily or in other words, the people who consume.
Unfortunately the world today respects persons who consume and not persons who produce and create welfare and other useful things for society.
The malady of the world is mainly due to the continued pre dominance of the Government in purchasing comforts with money rather than recognizing contributions.
With an equal measure of intellect or work in any other form.
So we see sloth, inactivity and other cardinal sins committed by the very own custodians of the law and other forms of organization.
The salary system has successfully created a rift between different persons and we see often that intellect, knowledge and skill are dominated by sloth, inactivity, laziness which is masked in the form of inappropriate authority and politically motivated decision making.
So where are we going from here? Do we still persist with blowing our own trumpet because of winning a bronze medal in the Olympics or should we persist with policies that create a classless society that is peaceful for everybody to live.
The Guns or butter problem is a classical problem in macroeconomics where Governments should decide on whether to spend on Defence or on Food for their citizens.
Seeing how Russia fell in the last decade and how the USA emerged as a popular nation with popular policies it can be inferred that the nation which decided to make more butter for its citizens instead of a nation that created policies that denigrated human existence to the second level emerged more strong and victorious.
Let us achieve in the world, only when we first have a strong sense of the problems such as poverty, malnutrition and security faced by fellow citizens are successfully addressed.
As much as we achieve in Science, Research, Engineering, Technology etc.
, let us also think about the welfare that we need to provide the underprivileged and other deprived persons.
