Tall, Dark and Proper - OLTL Recap for Wednesday, November 4, 2009
At his office, Todd draws a mustache and beard on Dorian’s face on the latest edition of The Sun, and then picks up another addition with his and Tea’s picture. A PI enters and reports that Delgado bought two tickets to London and was traveling with a “tall, dark and handsome guy.” Blair comes in the room and is clearly pleased that Ross has skipped town hopefully with Tea in hand! After the PI is dismissed, Blair knocks over the folder he brought to Todd.
Knowing it’s about Delgado, she’s furious that her ex is still researching the tramp! Manning feels that the attorney is hiding something very big. (The blonde has a flashback of Tea’s confession). Blair reminds Todd its Hope’s first birthday and he needs to focus on his grandbaby and kids instead of Tea.
At the boarding school, Matthew, Dani and Tom are planning the escape. Poor Matthew is trying hear a call from an apologetic Rachel while the other two argue. Rachel hangs up and finds Greg standing there. She tells him about her parents kidnapping her brother. He is concerned as the longer the surgery is delayed; the worse it is for Matthew’s recovery chances. She then shares that she has broken up with Shaun, but is not ready to move on with him. He gently kisses her right as Shaun comes into view. Shaun accuses his brother of moving in on his girl. He’s also furious with Rachel for not leveling with him the night before and storms off.
Back at Warwick, Tea and Elijah enter the headmistress’s office. She tells them of how she had Ross removed from the premises without Danielle seeing him.
While the two attorneys wait, Dani is finally located in Tom and Matthew’s room. Thinking her father is there to take her back to the islands, she is bitterly disappointed that it’s her mother and a new boyfriend. Delgado straightens her out and explains Elijah is her uncle. They are there to move her to another school. There is a screaming match between mother and daughter. Dani spots her father’s picture on the desk and runs out. Elijah wonders aloud how she will take the news that Ross is not her father.
At the Buchanan London residence, Destiny tells David that she hopes to talk Matthew’s parents into letting her see their son. “Leave Bo and Nora to me,” he replies. Down the hallway, Neville chats with Nigel in Llanview. He senses Vickers is up to no good. Nigel suggests he “nip it in the bud immediately.” In another part of the house, Bo beams as Nora enters the room. Their moment is short-lived as David makes his appearance. “If Auntie Nora were alone with you, she’d jump your bones.” The couple does not appreciate the intrusion especially after he encourages them not to deny their “burning love” anymore. Neville enters with the phone. It’s Clint.
Back in Llanview, Kim presents Stacy with a sonogram to use as hers for Rex. Kim then tells Stacy that her plan to bag Bo Buchanan will not work. According to gossip at the bar the night before, he’s holed up in London with his ex and wheelchair bound son. Stacy suggests that Nora’s current husband, Clint (and Bo’s brother) would be an easier mark since he’s “all alone in that big house.” Kim can “be there to pick up the pieces” when Bo gets back with Nora. The plotting duo giggles in delight as they think of Kim as the next Mrs. Clint Buchanan.
Meanwhile in London, as David brags about how good he and Dorian were in bed together, Bo winces. David just doesn’t want Bo to lose out on the love of it life (“Big Mama” as Vickers affectionately names Nora with another wince by the commish). In the other room, Nora reluctantly tells Clint how Matthew hates her. Clint offers to come to London, but she quickly counters with how he’s needed by Natalie and Jessica. After they hang up, the elder Buchanan orders fueling of the company jet. Nora rejoins Bo. David brings Destiny in who makes a passionate plea to see Matthew. She is surprised that her request is honored and Neville will be driving her to the school. After Destiny leaves the room, Vickers questions Nora and Bo staying behind. “We have things to discuss.” “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do,” David sings. After Vickers leaves the room, the two admit nothing has changed from the night before … they love each other. Nora announces she’s returning to Llanview (after all, she is still married to Clint) and Bo needs to stay there.
Back at Warwick, Dani shows up at the boys’ room pulling a roller bag. She asks Tom if his stink bomb is ready. Tom wishes Danielle and Matthew the best of luck and hands them a wad of money. As they prepare to leave the room, they open the door to find Destiny standing there! Matthew smiles.
