How to Remove Mold With Clorox
- 1). Put on gloves and a face mask.
- 2). Mix a cleaning solution of one cup of Clorox bleach with four cups of water. Mix thoroughly and fill a spray bottle with the mixture.
- 3). Prepare the work area. If necessary, place an inexpensive drop cloth on the floor to prevent the cleaning solution from damaging the flooring. Open windows to provide adequate ventilation.
- 4). Wipe down the surface with disposable paper towels to remove any loose material or dirt. Once the surface is cleaned, discard the used paper towels.
- 5). Spray bleach solution on surface and let stand for ten minutes. Respray and wipe with a sponge or rag. Rinse out the sponge or rag periodically.
- 6). Once the area has been treated, thoroughly clean it with fresh water and allow it to dry.
