How to Seal a Braid
- 1). Use a braid sealer or flat iron, such as HottScizzors to seal your synthetic braids.
- 2). Select several braids to seal at the same time and smooth them out.
- 3). Hold the braids in your hand, so that they lay side by side evenly.
- 4). Place the braids over the iron part of sealer at the place where you want the seal. Close the iron or sealer over the braids and hold for about 10 seconds --or as long as the manufacturer recommends.
- 5). Release the sealer. The braids should be properly sealed.
- 1). Select one braid at a time to work with.
- 2). Add a drop of nail glue to the end of the braid.
- 3). Quickly and gently use your fingertips to squeeze the hair and glue together. The glue will hold the ends of the hair in place. This can be used on human hair braids, as well as synthetic.
