Which products are good for your baby?
Which product is best for your baby? There are literally thousands of baby products out in the market. These products can be either good or bad, depending on what you need. I took a minor poll to ask people what they think are the best baby products out there. Some rattled off names and brands for baby products, and some say that the best baby product is the one that works best for you.
I always say that parenting is best when it comes from the heart, and that it requires a keen sense of sight and hearing. There are subtle signs to say whether the baby in a good or bad disposition, even if the baby is not crying. All these things are possible when the parent is alert. The same goes for the random baby product. What you put on you baby's skin and hair and where you place the baby for her nap or bedtime is entirely up to you, but you are limited by the products available. Not that this restriction is necessarily restricting, as there are hundreds if not thousands of products to choose from. The alert parent will know what his baby will like, will know if the baby will want to sleep with this toy, or on this mattress.
Going with your gut can be a daunting task when you are first time parent. You have this screaming thing that doesn't like sushi or tofu lasagna. She seems to like only milk or formula and the she goes to sleep. Is it going to be the same way with cribs and clothes, too? Rest assured folks, it will not be that way. However, if you do not use your gut or your heart to figure out what kind of products work best for your child, there will be consequences.
As usual, parents need to use their hearts and their minds to find out which product is best for their child. At first the decision making is easy because the baby is small and cannot make her own decisions. The decisions change when the baby gets to be almost taller than you are.
