Three Tips to Walking in the Abiding Presence of the Lord
The Lord Jesus is a wonderful person.
He is a God in human form, a God who thinks with human emotion and a high priest that can take our requests to the Father for us on a daily basis.
It is such a joy to walk with the Lord, to feel His presence in your life each day, like oil over your skin walking with you and speaking to your Spirit as you go about your day.
How did this come about in my life? In the past six months the presence of the Lord has increased at a great level.
I can put it down to a few things.
1 Time spent speaking to the Father in prayer and dialogue back and forth.
2 Being set apart each day to do what the Lord wants me to do.
3 Having my time spent reading books and the Word that are anointed.
Talking to the Father brings such a great anointing of peace in my life.
In fact, as I write this there is such a heavy presence of the Lord in my life that I just wanted to come out here and share it with you.
Being set apart for the Lord, having only the Lord's will as your desire in your life is sometimes a hard process to get to.
Only wanting the Lord's will in your life, means spending your money differently, spending your time differently and doing things differently to many other Christians.
Leaving behind a life of sin is hard, but with true repentance any sin, any besetting sin, can be broken and the anointing of the Holy Spirit break fresh upon your life.
Learning to speak to the Father and being able to listen to Him as you chat back and forth to Him is a discipline and yet once you have experienced God speaking to you and answering your questions you would never go back to the dull way of life without your daily commune with the Father.
The Father is only too willing to speak to you and when you are living a righteous life you are free to approach the throne each day and have a discussion with the Father and Jesus.
When you are walking in the anointing, every time you open the Bible and read for half an hour the presence of God increases and stays with you most of the day.
Bible reading and prayer really increase the Spirit's presence in your life.
I am amazed at the peace and joy that is in my life in these past months and the faith that is rising up within me.
I am happy to say that I have not done anything that is too hard for any of you.
Living a life that is only to please Jesus, might be too hard for the average person, but I can tell you there is no feeling in the world like the peace of Jesus and the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.
It's such a joy to be able to speak and have the Holy Spirit tell you what to say in your conversation and what not to say.
It's such a joy to be able to pray for a person and see that prayer answered before you finish having a coffee.
It is such a joy to be gifted in prophecy which every believer can be and to be able to lay hands on a person and see them prophesy right after you prayed.
It is simply a joy to write to you and share my heart tonight.
