Acne - Is This an Unforgivable Disease?
Not many of us realize there is an illness that effects some 50% of the population to a greater or lesser degree.
That disease will cause great distress to 10% of the community, seriously damaging their development, with the side effect of mental and physical deformity.
Acne is an unforgivable disease, and here I do not mean those with an odd pimple or spot? I refer to those with lumps, cysts and infected, pus filled blisters on the face, neck, shoulders and even arms.
These multi coloured eruptions are large enough to stretch the skin and the inflammation itches and causes real pain.
The result of this is that not only are you aware of a disfigurement that seems like a form of leprosy, but the constant irritation means you cannot ignore the fact? Often this ailment commences in the early teens and may last 15 years.
No one wants a craggy complexion, least of all, in the developing years of puberty.
Try to imagine the heart ache of multi-hued lumps all over the most visible part of you anatomy, your face, and having to deal with all the new experiences a young adult has.
Meeting new people, college, applying for jobs, in fact just moving forward from childhood to adult status with a mill stone around your neck.
The lack of confidence and disadvantage inflicted on them, acne is unforgivable and lonely? And, they do not go away, it may take weeks to lose the effect of one lump, and in that time two more appear.
They leak, and are not easily covered, just imagine trying to shave with a face covered in lumps? There are creams, lotions and potions which may help relieve the problem, although, individually they only help slightly.
It is not normal to have severe acne, sure you will have the odd spot, especially if your body is changing rapidly with puberty, but if it was normal then of course every one would have the same problem, and by definition, it would be normal and there fore, not a problem.
Go figure? It appears to me that any one with severe acne is suffering with a whole body condition, I do not believe acne in all these forms is just a skin disease, I think it is the outward sign of the body fighting to return to a normal balance.
The best method of producing this re balancing is to use an holistic approach, meaning to treat the whole body and modify the life style, and the added advantage of treating the whole, is you end up with a much better body all together? What is needed to help your body renew itself then is a system that will help normalize any hormone imbalances and regularize the overall levels.
It should also purge the digestive organs so all the waste is handled effectively, and clean up any internal micro- organisms.
You will also need to change daily habits, diet and liquid intake to maintain a better balance.
If you consider that acne is a warning sign that your body has an imbalance and make a positive effort to correct that condition, then massive improvements are possible.
